We would have been very happy with this hotel if there hadn't been a police action situation on our last night. On the Saturday night of our 5-night stay, we returned from a party around midnight and noticed some young people standing/sitting around at the back of the parking area, out of sight of the office. My husband then said he had noticed a number of cars coming & going, especially after dark -- the kind of traffic you would see if drugs were being sold. The next night, we came back from dinner around 7-8 PM to find 2 squad cars and a Crime Scene Investigation van in the parking lot. We recognized one of the same people who had been outside the previous night, standing in the corridor with police officers, apparently being interviewed. We asked at the office whether it was safe to go to our room, and the man on duty said there was no need to worry, someone had just "been sick." We thought this probably actually meant someone had done a drug overdose, but that is just a guess. Had I been staying there alone I would have been scared to death. As it was, I was very worried and glad to get out of there.
