Booked this hotel at the advice of friends who stayed that the inn but recommended we stay in one of the mansion rooms and we're glad we upgraded to those accommodations. While the rest of the hotel looked pleasant enough, the elegance of the mansion added to the relaxation we were hoping to get during the 4 days we were guests. The Sunset room itself was on the smaller side, but adequate for our needs, and the terrace provided an ideal location for breakfast (which was served punctually as per our requested time the evening before) as well as for reading and lounging on the swing. The views, quite limited of the beach and offering much of the roof, were less than optimal but still pleasant enough to spend time outdoors with some degree of privacy. We loved the library and the patio; the pool, like the terrace, was adequate for our needs. Evening turn-down was a nice touch, housekeeping efficient and courteous as was the front desk staff. Excellent location - easy walk to the beach and town.

Stayed at the Glorietta Bay Inn this past weekend. We decided to splurge and reserve a room in the Mansion . . . the Library Room. When we arrived we were greeted and assisted by Georgia who was very gracious and offered a wealth of information. Although the service we experienced at the inn was friendly and attentive, it may be time to replace the mattress in the "Library Room," which I found too soft and worn out. Complimentary breakfast was adequate . . . loved eating outside on the patio. Cookies and milk, and turn down service were a nice touch each evening.

Location of this inn is great. Directly across from The Del, walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. We will definitely return again.

This is a very family friendly hotel across the street from the Hotel Del Coronado. We stayed in one of the new additions and the room was clean and modern. Eating breakfast in the mansion on the patio was treat! Walking distance to many restaurants and the Hotel Del is lovely! Walk to the beach and you can stop on the way to rent umbrella's and chairs. Walk back a block for shops and restaurants.

We loved this property. The staff was extremely helpful, particularly Gabriella, Laura, and Tim at the front desk. Also Raj, reservations manager. We both work in a AAA rated 4 diamond hotel and were impressed with the service here.

We stayed in Sunset Room 104. The room is really beautiful, as is the entire mansion. I didn't see any of the other hotel rooms but after staying in the mansion i'd say it's definitely worth paying a slightly higher rate. We had a wonderful breakfast delivered to the room every morning and ate on our balcony. Nice table overlooking the bay. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was extremely clean upon check in and after our daily housekeeping service.

104 may be smaller than some of the other mansion rooms, but the porch is really what seals the deal. it's got a private balcony area with a table and a porch swing that you really can't see on the hotel website. There is a really nice view of the bay and a partial ocean view..a few more potted plants around the edge of the balcony would make it even better.

Thanks to the GM for being so friendly and accommodating even when we stopped by after a full day of drinking rum on the beach...Thanks to all of the staff we had a great time
