I echo and endorse all the 5 star reviews of the Crown City Inn. Fabulous place to stay! Charming, squeaky clean, friendly staff, reasonable price, AND...loaner cruiser bicycles to putts-around town and on the beach with. Easy and very pleasant 10 minute max walk to the commercial/resturaunt hub of Coronado. 3 blocks the opposite direction to the Coronado brew pub which is great: 10+ brews on tap. We will most certainly revisit the Crown City Inn. You will not regret staying here.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We checked in very late and the front desk employee was a slightly "out of it, so we weren't exactly optimistic about the hotel as a whole. The room was very clean and fairly newly furnished. The bathroom was beautiful and very clean. All the personnel was very helpful and friendly - with the exception of the guy on our first night. Parking is a bit difficult. There is a very limited parking in the courtyard. Most cars have to park on the failry busy Orange Avenue. Free wi-fi was without any problems and I was even able to print my boarding pass at the front desk. We did have a slight issue with hot water - the hotel currently switched to tankless water heaters and sometimes they did not turn on when needed. A quick phone call to front desk fixed that issue - they turned it on manually and even gave us a discount for the night.

The Crown City Inn in Coronado has to be one of the best kept secrets in town! We stayed there for four nights and loved it. It's an older property, but has been updated and freshly painted. It was spotlessly clean and though not right on the beach, anything in Coronado is within walking distance. There is a cute little Bistro attached to the inn which serves a fabulous breakfast. It's also a short walk to the ferry if you want to venture into San Diego. They even provide bicycles for getting around town.

Spent 4 days at the Crown City Inn. What a wonderful and cute establishment. The employees are absolutely wonderful. Our room was great and everything was noticeably upgraded and freshly painted. A cute restaurant (Bistro) is right next to the Lobby and the food was fantastic with reasonable prices. From the time we arrived until we departed......the accommodations were more than satisfactory (Thumbs Up). I would encourage anyone coming to Coronado Island in the San Diego Area to give this lodging facility a serious look-see.
