Good hotel you get what you could expected from a marriott hotel.
Rooms are good, hotel food was good

We only stayed at this property one night. Our room was plenty large with a nice sitting area, spacious bath, balcony on the 3rd floor and nicely decorated for our tastes. The pool is beautifully situated with a view across the bay and the San Diego skyline. The buffet breakfast includes all the usual dishes, fresh fruit and custom made omelets. There is sitting on the patio to enjoy your morning cuisine and a USA Today on your doorstep first thing in the am!

We still give this property a 5, even though we were not assigned a room on the bay view side overlooking the City and pool. We did not ask to be moved because it was only one night. The caveot is this was our first experience using Priceline! We paid a total cost of $190 with no breakfast or parking which seems like a fair rate to entitle us to a bay view room. Ours looked out at the tennis courts. In bidding, I felt the 4 star plus category would probably be the Marriott or Loews in Coronado. We did not want to stay at the distant Loews, so we were happy about the assignment. But there came a stigma when the reception clerk wrote Priceline on our room key. So I was not surprised when we located our room in the Father Damien (of leper fame) Wing somewhere near the Coronado Island bridge (366). I sensed all our fellow Priceline bidders were our neighbors. Oddly the room did not include a refrigerator but one would have been provided if requested? I was told only the bay view rooms have refrigerators. Being in Priceline mode, I easily parked the car on the street directly in front of the property and saved, what I feel, the excessive $22 fee.

Bottom line we really enjoyed our brief stay and possibly we our out of touch with current market rates.

The Marriott Coronado Resort on Coronado Island is incredible. We have stayed there many times. The food was great, Great Breakfast Buffet, We stayed in the Private Cabanas on the Bay. Beautiful grounds with great views. Great place, Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Free Ferry Boat Shuttle to San Diego Marina Marriott, Had a wonderful Dinner at Roy’s Seafood walk to the stadium for a Padres game it turned out to be more pleasant at the roof top bar at the Marriott Courtyard for the game it over; it overlooks the field.

A great place close to San Diego on the lovely island of Coronado. We were traveling with our 3 daughters, one of whom was only 7 months old. The staff was very accommodating and was extremely helpful with local transportation. The restaurant food was very good. I would definitely stay here again.
