My daughter and I drove from Arcata heading for home orange county, and the drive is 12 hrs, but wanted to stay a night to recuperate for the long journey home, everything was very nice, bed very comfortable, staff friendly, and before 5:30pm Mgrs free cocktail hour, and, my daughter is staying there for a night again on her way back to Arcata, love Best Western, can't go wrong, but don't always expect the Ritz, if that's what you want then find one and pay the $$$$$$$

Hotel is managed very well and they have Nice Big Room. The only thing that doesnt work well is Cell Phone Coverage in the Area. Breakfast is good and the pool area is clean.

My 2 teenage children, our pet guinea pig and I stayed here for the entire month!! We had NO complaints during our stay!! The housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning our room!! We found everything clean and in good working order!! The staff at the desk, especially Maria were great. They were friendly, gave us great advice and great suggestions!!! I give this hotel 100%, excellent rating!! I definitely would suggest this hotel to everyone traveling in the area!! I would definitely stay in this hotel if I am in the area again!!!!

I thought of BW hotels as hit and miss until last year when I stayed in two excellent properties. I was looking forward to staying at this one in Concord.

-Warmly greeted and check-in went smooth as butter.
-Large non-smoking room looked like the pix on the website (nice). It smelled a bit musty but not enough to make me want to change. Missing a wall mirror but mounts remained in place. Tissue box was missing tissues. Bath drain closure wouldn't stop water so I wasted water during my bath. Shower and supplies were good quality.
-Maid woke us up in the morning, poked her head in and asked us if we need our room cleaned. WTF? We were sleeping 10 seconds earlier but received no apology.
-Okay breakfast but nothing to write home about. Make-your-own waffles, instant oatmeal, budget muffins, bagels, & bread, boiled eggs. Good quality coffee but decaf was no longer warm. I expected better.
-Has an outdoor pool and a computer in the lobby which I did not try.
-WiFi available in my room but connection process a pain, pages loaded very slowly, and frequently disconnected.

Overall, this BW is a good place and I slept like a stone. My moderately negative comments are nitpicky. And as long as you get a competitive price, by all means stay. However, do not expect 'excellence'.
