i reserved a month in advance, when we checked in they gave us a room that we didnt even reserve, the bathtub was so dirty we had to get someone to come clean it, it was stained, we went to take showers the water was cold, i called the front desk and the receptionist asked me "Did you let the water run for 15 minute"? Are you serious, i will never in my life stay there again,

“Better than the Reviews in TA”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 July 2009

The reviews of this hotel are better in other sources. I saw nothing in my room or elsewhere to confirm the comments about dirtiness. The front desk staff was uniformly rude, as well the valet parking staff which work for a separate company. Parking for hotel guests is quite limited by the way the hotel uses its parking areas, but basic valet service is only $2.
I chose the hotel for its price. The room was quite comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff was courteous and helpful. Dining in the hotel restaurant is limited, but there are many choices within a few blocks. The hotel has security at all times.
The area where the hotel is located would not be good for taking walks, however it is not unsafe as others have stated.
Summer hours for the pool and jacuzzi were oddly limited but no one used them even though they were well kept and proper temperatures.

“Do not stay here”

This property is like a school suberb of a chinese gheto. If English is your first language, do not stay here as nobody in the property will understand a word you say. Most the guests are Chinese students and tourist groups. The 'inclusive' breakfast is HORRIBLE, the rooms DIRTY and the lifts a DEATHTRAP.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

“Dirty, Dirty, Dirty”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 July 2008

I live in Compton and I didn't want to be bothered with the cooking and cleaning and the regular 4th activities. I decided that I would treat my girls and I to a relaxing weekend. I could have went to another hotel, but as I said before, I live in Compton and I try and support my city as much as possible. Big mistake on this one! Upon arriving, I had to get the desk person's attention , although I was the only person in line. He tried to charge me again, after I had already paid. Upon arriving in the room. It was horrible. The walls were dirty and the toilet was very stained. There was no way that we were staying in that room. I went down stairs and received a room "closer to the pool" That one was not much better but the girls were tired and we stayed (atleast the bathroom was cleaner than the last room, although the cheap plastic shower curtains needed to be replaced and who would think of steping on that bath mat) But it was not up to standards. Whoever rated this hotel 3 stars needed glasses. I went to the nearby Target and bought lysol and sprayed everything down and cleaner also.I can't believe that this was the hotel's level of clean! There was no way we were sleeping on that cover. The artifical plants that they have in the lobby and on the floors are dirty, dusty and need to be replaced. The pool was another story. I saw the personnel cleaning the pool, so I thought well atleast all was not lost.I allowed my children to go in the pool. My daughter went to the bottom and it too was very dirty. Hair plugs the size of oranges. Apparently the filters were not working. I planned on staying the weekend, but I could only stomach one night. Next time LAX!
