When I checked online, 30 mins. prior to checking in, the hotel was listed for $69/night. When I got to the front desk, the receptionist said it was $69/night as well. I stayed for 1 night. Checked out the next day only to find that they charged me $79/night with tax it was $88.84!!! I called & the manager wouldn't even take time to talk to me on the phone, the billing lady was getting all pissed with an attitude with me. They didn't even try to work things out with me. All they said was "I'm sorry." Whatever money hungry people!!! The place wasn't even all that. The floors/carpets were dirty. When the door slam shut, your neighbors can hear you! You can hear your neighbors too! No fans in the bathroom. Services weren't good. They just stood at front desk just to look nice. Sure! Stay there if you want, but the area isn't all that great. They overly charged for the price of 1 night and they even took an extra $10. I'll take it as a donation to the hotel in a bad area...thank you.

It was the worst night ever, it wasn't till 2am in the morning when we heard doors banging, people laughing outside our room. I call the front desk and they said they would handle it. The noise went on all night. I woke up tired from lack of sleep. Went to go check-out and told the guy behind the desk what happen. He didnt have an answer and he wrote my info down and he was suppose to get back to me. He never did. This is the worst Hotel ever, Dont stay here.,

We spent 2 nights at the Ramada Inn in Commerce with a tour group in late July 2009. I read existing reviews before going there and tried, to no avail, to get our tour operator to change hotels.

The accomadations are acceptable but noisy. The staff were polite and helpful, the rooms were large, clean and adequate. A couple of holes in the blanket. No central air and the window unit was a bit noisy. Basic 2-star quality, nothing more.

However, our room overlooked a parking lot of 18-wheelers. One must have been had refridgerated cargo since we could hear the motor running ALL NIGHT LONG. At least this blocked the noise from the surrounding freeways.

The real problem lies with the location. A friend in LA strongly advised against staying here, explaining that it was an industrialized area surrounded by freeways and could be rather dangerous. I didn't believe him, but on our first evening in the hotel, 6 police cars arrived and my children saw armed police officers running through the hallways of the hotel. Some of the members of our group thought this was rather amusing (like so many of those tv series...), but I was more than upset by this episode.

This hotel seems to cater to multiple tour groups. Not a surprise, since no one in their right mind would stay here if they had a choice. Breakfast and dinner are taken at the gag-a-licious Denny's restaurant adjoining the hotel, the pinacle of American cuisine.

Avoid if you can!

ive stayed there three times in the past and it wasn't so bad! i am a sound sleeper, though te he he :) i didn't think it was stinky at all. i think it must have been renovated since most of the messages on this page. the light was nice and the beds were comfy. its your standard airport area hotel right?!?! there's even a shuttle to the mall. also, i dont believe the carjacking story, that's hooey. i wouldnt sugest hanging out after dark alone if youre a girl, but that goes for all of america right, even where i live, and i live in iowa :) funny, two out of 3 times i stayed there were french people there, now i see a french review! je t'em french! this hotel is a-ok
