“An superior over night stopping spot that's worth staying longer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 February 2011

Hotel is clean and well maintained. Pool is bath tub warm. Hot tub is hot. Breakfat is usual Hampton inn fare. Staff are friendly, and helpful. Lots of resturants are about 4 miles away on Hospitality Rd. Stater Bros. (grocery store) is just across the street.
Neighbourhood is mixture of homes (lower income type) busineses, and shops. Don't let the neighbour distract you from staying here. We stayed three nights it was quite and peaceful.

“Not up to Hampton standards”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2011

Stayed at the Hampton and for the price and being stuck in Colton it was OK. The room needs updating but atleast it looked like new carpet. The guy at the front must have been new so I will cut him slack. The hallways and the elevator floor needs to be cleaned because they are very dirty. This place I would say is not up to Hampton standards but what it does have going for it is that it is very cheap for a Hampton Inn. The neighborhood not the best and no real palce to eat around the hotel. Like I said not bad for the price.

“Superb value if stuck in Inland Empire”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2011

We visited the Inland Empire to check on my wife's parents. I. E. is one of our least favorite areas of Calif, but this hotel is a jewel in the rough, a GREAT value for the money, thus my Very Good Rating. Based solely on hotel quality and ignoring price, I would rate it lower, it is not a four star hotel. It is off I-10, but the road noise was minimal. It is near a not so good neighborhood, but the immediate area and the property is reasonably safe and well-lit. The hotel is clean and well-renovated, nice property for the price! Rooms are nice, the beds and linens were not as nice as some Hampton properties we have stayed at, but adequate. Breakfast was usual hotel breakfast fare, but well-done. Service across the board was good- they did fail to change our towels one day, but the manager came right up with a change of towels. It has a heated pool and hot tub. With I-10 a block away, it is easy to get to Ontario Airport, as well as areas to the east.

“Couldn't have asked more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2010

We had fled here from Knight's Inn. Maybe it was because I couldn't help comparing the two, this place felt like heaven after what we had gone through at the other horrible place (if you are curious enough of what had happened please see my other review.)

The staff here was friendly, the place felt safe, the room was clean, and most importantly, the bathroom was clean. I also liked their breakfast, simple but filling. I would definitely recommend spending just a bit more to stay here if you can, than staying at one of those crappy motels.

“Clean, friendly service, and only 12 freeway miles from San Manuel Casino”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2010

Received tickets for a Gloria Estefan concert at San Manuel Casino. Really didn't want to make the 55 mile drive home after the concert and drinking. All the hotels in the immediate vicinity to the casino had terrible ratings, so we tried one a short drive away and were so happy with our find of the Hampton Inn Colton.
