We stayed here for a wedding and found the Inn to be a pleasant place to stay. The grounds are lovely; kind of an oasis in an otherwise dreary land. The rooms are nice but could use some updating...but they were clean and comfortable. We had both dinner and breakfast at the Inn and they were both excellent!! The food was perfect, wine was perfect and the service was top notch.

My family and I (6 of us total) shared a family suite at Harris Ranch. It was just fine for our overnight trip - it was a perfect place to stop, midway between NorCal (we were coming from the Bay Area) and LA area. No fridge or microwave (which would have been nice to keep our leftovers from the steakhouse) - but our family suite had two beds and a pull out couch. Pull out couch was not that comfy, though.

Another nice point was that there were bathrobes in our room, which were perfect for wearing to the huge heated pool and hot tub which we went in at 9:00 at night (and had completely to ourselves)! We've stayed here several times, and always find ourselves excited about going to the pool, even in December/January.

The front desk staff was very nice, very helpful and accommodating. I forgot our pre-purchased tickets to Universal Studios at home and they were very helpful in allowing me to use their fax machine to get everything worked out with the booking agency. Would definitely recommend for people traveling long distances along I-5 on their way to/from LA area.

I LOVE the pool!!! I took a swim at night in April and the olympic sized pool was warm. The lighting was lovely and architecture and gardens are gorgeous. They really have an eye for beauty there. I enjoyed my room and the amenities. I have not gone to the restaurant. I am eager to go back and swim in the pool as it is one of the nicest in California!

Prices 5* they're really a 1* at that. Rooms really, really need updating. Personnel has bad attitude. What limited room service menu they have is nothing but beef on it. Could be because Harris raises cattle. Prices are ridiculous and selection poor at best. Maybe owner should stick to his race horses instead. Would not recommend Harris ranch
