In all my travels, I have never had a reservation "lost". We arrived to check in to be told that there were no more rooms left. We showed the clerk our confirmation number. She looked it up and said, "This number isn't valid. No room has been reserved for you and we're all sold out." However, our credit card was already billed for the room. Through the internet, we showed her a copy of our statement. She kept repeating herself, "We're all sold out." When we asked her to credit our card for the amount we already paid, she said she showed no record of us making a payment, although our credit card statement clearly showed that a payment was made to "Super 8 Cloverdale." The clerk said there was nothing she could do and that the manager was out of town until Monday. To add insult to injury, when we asked her to help us find a room somewhere else, she said she was from North Carolina and didn't know the area. NEVER again will we deal with Super 8.

I stayed here after seeing positive reviews. My bathroom had brown mold around the sink drain as well as hair on the floor. The hallway smelled like a garlic factory and no wifi in the rooms. The front desk attendant was annoyed when I requested a room on the first floor (heavy suitcase/no elevator and said there were none (was later obvious there were plenty of rooms available.

My husband had gone on a new austerity plan, so he said if we wanted to go to an event in Wine Country we'd need to stay at a Super 8. Imagine my surprise when everything other people said in the *positive* reviews turned out to be true. It's a relatively new property so everything is spacious and works. It feels like a Holiday Inn Express for a better price. There must have been different management in 2010 because some of the nasty things described as happening in 2010 are unimaginable today. Quiet, clean, inexpensive, roomy for $89.00 per night (incl. tax) included, booked on the Wyndham site for a Saturday night in October. (Yes, you get Wyndham points!) Will share this hidden treasure with friends. Pricey, trendy Healdsburg is just 15 minutes South.

I spent a night here before a bike ride event in Hopland. It's conveniently located near eating and shopping and far enough off the highway to be quiet at night. The front desk was friendly and the room was comfortable. I found it a definite step up from what I expected in this category of motel (e.g., free wi-fi, spacious room, well-maintained).
