I had a reservation for one night and end up with 3 nights because rooms was brand new with new carpet, new paint, new pillow top mattress, granite kitchen counter top , friendly customer service , easy access to San Diego and Chula Vista , it was pleasant stay , hotel is still under renovation , nice room with good customer service , i will definitely come back and stay

There is no way.. This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I stay in cheap motels all the time always on a budget but this one never again. Stayed here mid January. The room looked NOTHING like the pictures, they are not renovated either, at least they weren't while I was here. Either way, overall the room was a bad experience. It wasn't even like a suite, just 2 rooms with a hole in the middle and the kitchen area was very gross, the rooms were very dark and very uncomfortable. Furniture was dirty and there were also holes in the wall that were covered very poorly. Everything was just dirty and it felt very unsafe.

Upon arriving, I called the desk to request more towels / blankets, we had 2 adults staying in the room and there were only 2 very small thin towels near the sink, and on the bed just one sheet and one comforter, that's it, that is what we had to sleep in. We were then accused of having 3 adults in the room by the front desk, because one of our friends in the area was visiting who wasn't even staying with us. I felt like we were being harassed the entire time by them. They were going to charge a dollar for any additional towels or linen so I said forget it. Because I was travelling with a friend on a budget, we could tolerate the place a couple nights, but I DO NOT recommend this place to families!!

The bathtubs were painted instead of repaired!! roaches in hotel...I understand that they want to conserve energy everyone does now days...but a timer on the AC ??? ridiculous!!! every time you wake up you need to turn the window unit on so you don't sweat at night and its in the living room not the bedroom. so after a hot day at the beach you come back to hot room...and while your sitting eating dinner the timer on the lights will turn off too so you have to get up and turn the lights back on...dirty carpets no hand soap...did not replenish towels...and make sure you don't park in owner spot or he will block you in...although there's only 20 spots in the whole lot that are gated!! for a reason!!! the spot is not clearly marked i assumed it was reserved for guests!! the pillows are awful towels are hard and scratchy!! the one ice machine doesn't work,,,and there is old furniture all over the place outside. This was awful and expedia does not advertise this hotel properly and the trip ad-visor reviews absolutely have to be rigged no way anyone could enjoy this place even if there looking for somewhere cheap and fast!!!

This was my second time at this hotel. we were here two years ago and this time we brought kids with us. we stayed at Traveler Inn & Suites for 2 night.The hotel has an excellent location for visiting san diego. Overall we were pleased with hotel and staff at the hotel were great,customer service oriented and accommodating. I am very picky about cleanliness and my room was very clean. Room has been redone and are nice and clean. After my arrival, the fron desk called to make sure everything was satisfactory. Great service...
