I was a victim of a theft at this hotel by a person who had secured a master key when I stepped across the street for 30 minutes to eat. There have been several thefts there using the same method all caught on video and no-one caught. Unless you lock all your valuables in the hotel safe, the hotel is not liable for any thefts under any circumstances. It is in the fine print of your contract as they pointed out.

We stayed at Holiday Inn in Chowchilla for over the course of the last 4 months. We booked on Hotwire and were pleasantly surprised. Merced hotels were closer to where we needed to be, but the deal was too hard to pass up. This is the first of three nights and we are super impressed. We were at the Crowne Plaza in Chicago O'hare last night and this is so much nicer - free internet, plenty of parking, free pool and exercise room (nice equipment and set up) great front desk (Stephanie!) and beautiful, spacious QUIET, clean room. Everything is here - a microwave and small fridge-- FREE WI FI - classy, clean surroundings. Beautiful linens and a great bed and a free breakfast to wake up to ...and half what we paid last night. After some driving around, these are the nicest accommodations in the area.

This was my third time I have stayed in Chowchilla at the Holiday Inn express.
The staff was very helpful as I forgot several items . Stephanie got me the items
I needed and helped me with some directions for dinner spots. The rooms are
very nice and beds are very comfortable. Of all of the hotels I stay at I enjoy this
location the most.

This is the best hotel at any price! I have stayed at them all 5 star, 4 star, exclusive resorts honeymoon suites as well many hotels at exotic destinantions trust me none of them have anything on this EXPRESS Hotel.. look at the rooms, furniture as well there high end interior beautiful colors very professional. Full breakfast, not continental style eggs, sausage, pancakes, juices, cereals, yogurts and breads of all sorts including bagels/cream cheese. Get the picture yet? do yourself a favor try them out!! TD
