I'm all for places. To have extreme fun. But this place. Was horrible. Looks like a very bad do it yourself project!!!! Extension cords everywhere. Dirty dirty dirty and the men absolutely disgusting !!!!!

This place has horrible word-of-mouth. I’ve stayed here a couple of times. Let me try to bring some perspective. I suspect folks are obsessing on one negative aspect and missing the whole or simply brought the wrong expectations.

This is one of the larger gay male sex oriented resorts in the Palm Springs area. It is in Cathedral City about 15 min drive from downtown PS but you will need a car in PS anyway—even if you are staying at the epicenter of gay PS, Warm Sands.

It is an older, somewhat tired resort. The owners have tried to enliven it but the venue itself and their lack of taste mean that this is not a place that charms you with atmosphere. The water diversions they have added are just tacky. Nevertheless, with some exceptions below it is clean and fairly well kept although room furnishings are a little thread-bare.

This is also one of the more affordable venues.

1. Yes, the desk staff were short, unhelpful and bordering on rude but once I had a key I never had to deal with them again. The housekeeping staff were helpful, pleasant and seemed to do a good job.

2. This is a sex-oriented venue for older gay men. Do not expect to find a young crowd. There also seems to be a preponderance of leather men. There is a sex area that is run down and dirty. I believe, however, that the guys who frequent this place like it that way—in the same way that leather bars tend to be comfortable, non-pretentious and often dirty. The small area for day users is also fairly run-down. The steam room and public toilet are also old and not maintained well.

3. The rooms are clean, functional and while not luxurious entirely adequate and decent value for the money.

4. This is not a place for a romantic get-away with your honey. This is predominately a place for older single gay men to meet others like themselves and have trysts.

5. Avoid the tent option. It’s expensive and not an option if you have any intention of sleeping.

6. They do events, special weekends with entertainment to up the attendance. These “shows” are pathetic. The guests tend to ignore the show making it even more awkward for the various MC’s and drag queens that parade.

7. They have a “dining room” where they occasionally advertise a free lunch. Avoid this. Enough said.

Why come here? You’re an older single gay man looking to meet other older singles—especially if you’re into leather. You want a serious sex oriented venue. You’re on a budget and are looking for a comfortable gay resort that’s affordable.

I have been to CCBC many time over the last few years and have found much improvement each time. The staff has been right on top of things and helpful if I ever needed anything or had questions. The grounds and room has always been well kept and clean. There is something for almost anyone there, from the pools,jacuzzi's steam/sauna rooms. video roomS (4 of them) slingS yes there is more that one. The "nature trails" have always been "fun & interesting" If you are on a pass there are so many areas to just kick back and enjoy. If you have never been I'd say go ahead and see what it's all about. If you are a person who is just not looking to enjoy your self (& others) & have a good time this might not be the place for you

I found them rude and dismissive. Dirty place with apathetic staff.
Rooms don't seem bad.
