“WOW What a fulfilment of a fantsy vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2010

We had the distinct pleasure of staying for three days at the Stonepine Estate in Carmel Valley last week and it was a dream. The property is beautiful and peaceful, yet there is a lot to do on the property and in the vicinity. We took walks, ate great food and explored Carmel and the Valley. Breakfast was brought to us in the Paddock House each morning so all we had to do was go down in our robes (furnbished by the resort) and eat great fruit, meats, cheeser, granola, croissants and muffins along with juice, yogurt, and coffee and tea. There was always enough left for lunch. The last morning they invited us to have breakfast in the Chateau Noel (the main house) and we were treated to breakfast on the loggia (porch) with a wonderful fire in the fireplace (cool mornings) and omlettes to melt in your mouth along with fruit, croissants and muffins, bacpon and ham. We had arranged to have dinner at the Chateau on our last night and what a special treat it was! Champagne and appetizers in the living room in front of the fireplace (roaring) and dinner in the library again in front of the roaring fireplace. Too special for words! In addition to all this there are beautiful gardens to explore, putting greens to play, archery, volleyball and horses. Our room in the Paddockl House was charming and comfortable and we loved looking out one window and seeing the horses in the barn across the way. We would love to go back again!

“Can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 February 2009

We stayed there on our anniversary and it was quite an experience. From the moment we checked in to the morning we departed, the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in the house that is near the stables and had a blast, took long walks on the grounds and had a wonderful dinner. Great place for a romantic weekend, i am telling everyone I know!

“Wonderful and Such a great place for a Wedding”

My Wife and I were invited to stay in the Estate for two nights on June 30 and July 1 of 2006, as part of the wedding party. The bride’s family had rented out the estate for the weekend. It also coincided with our 1-year anniversary. The accommodations were extremely nice and there was not a single thing to complain about. We stayed in the Hermes House, which was extremely luxurious. The bathroom alone was larger than most any we had seen- complete with a deep tub with jets and a separate walk in glass shower. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were high quality feather and made for some very good sleep. There was a Jacuzzi that we did take advantage of in the back yard that had a picture perfect view as can been seen in the pictures. The estate has some very beautiful grounds, and boasts the recreations of golf, archery, equestrian activities and several other things. Due to our involvement with the wedding we did not have an opportunity to try out may of the things listed above but they were there nonetheless. The main lodge or Château Noel as it is called was also extravagant and beautiful. All the meals were provided there- very good and tasty- we often found ourselves plenty full. Overall my wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time and we would highly recommend it to others- although we have no idea how much it cost.
