Our experience at Vagabond was excellent - Although only staying 1 night it was everything we wanted, and more. Perfect location, helpful staff, the rooms are spacious beyond belief and the fire was an added extra that just made the whole stay more cosy, and comfortable. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Carmel.

My wife and I travelled to Carmel in November and stayed at the Vagabonds House Inn. We booked our accommodation there after reading so many great reviews about the Inn on Tripadvisor. Our experience exceeded our already high expectations. The staff all go the extra mile in making your stay as pleasant and hospitable as possible. Thomas (the Inn Keeper) was very helpful in providing us with a series of restaurant recommedations and has a great knowledge of the area, including the Big Sur. Our room (Room 1) was very spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and warm - the open fire place was great and added to the already romantic and charming appeal that the Vagabond has. We join the long list of others in recommending this place when staying in Carmel.

My husband and I recently stayed at the charming Vagabond's House Inn in Carmel and had a wonderful time. Thomas, Randall and Stefanie took great care of us.

We stayed at the Vagabond's House Inn for two nights and enjoyed our stay. We had room 4A, which we were warned would be small, but having just spent three nights in San Francisco, we actually found it to be quite large! I think it's a good size for those traveling as a couple. The room wasn't the most stylish or up-to-date, but was still rather large. The bathroom was nice as well. If you're looking for a more upscale room, however, I would recommend checking out some of their other rooms first. We stayed off season, so for us the price was right.

The staff was quite delightful, friendly and very helpful. I loved the room service for breakfast. The grounds were also unique. It's not very far from the beach, either.
