Quality Inns have been reliable "no reservations" hotels for me, and I've stayed at this one several times. They offer a Continental breakfast and reasonable rates. BUT, this one is falling apart and in dire need of repairs and updating. My first room had a broken (did not even turn on) heat/air unit - they didn't even know it and were not able to fix it. So they moved me (this took about half an hour for the "staff" to figure out). The new room was even shabbier than the first, but at least the heater/air conditioning unit worked. The remote for the ancient TV did not, however. After another wait, "maintenance" came and reprogrammed it to work somewhat. The TV was probably from 1990, as was most of the furniture. The fan in the bathroom was unusable because it was so darned loud that it was intolerable & you could not be in the room with all that noise. The tub's lever for the stopper was - I couldn't even believe this - PAINTED in the down position, so you couldn't take a bath, even if you wanted to (believe me, you don't). The sink was PLASTIC! And the fixtures old, pitted, and leaking. There is a Motel 6 next door that has better rooms. This Quality Inn could be restored to its former glory, and should be.
