We stayed at the Pelican for a long weekend in December. I agree with all that has been previously posted...great location, nicely decorated rooms, comfortable beds, a fireplace for chilly nights, and what I loved the most.....a delicious breakfast. Also, Nancy went out of her way to make my husband comfortable who was recovering from a recent shoulder surgery. She provided him with extra pillows, blankets and made sure he always had ice for his ice bag. Also, when my husband asked Nancy if she could fry him an egg for breakfast (he is the type that doesn't appreciate a good quiche), she served it in a matter of minutes. I wanted to crawl under the table but he was happy. I would definitely stay here again!
