I made my reservation online with no problems. We request a room with a ocean view and received a nice suite looking at the ocean. The breakfast is very limited. Room was nice and clean. Maid service was excellent. Would stay here again.

I arrived in Capistrano without ever being there before so I drove down to the road next to the water and chose a hotel. I was directly across the street from the beach (although the access to the beach was a few hundred feet down the road) which was not an issue to me. The beach and sunsets were beautiful. There is a train that runs between the beach and the hotel but it really didn't seem to be bothersome.

I had a one room suite that was a great price. The king size bed and full bath were separate from the kitchenette, dining area and living room. There was a sliding glass door out to the community hot tub and deck area.

I felt the hotel, room and grounds were nicely maintained and parking was located in an underground garage which was nice and cool. A continential breakfast was included in the room price.

My only complaint was that when I took my socks off (after walking around in the room without my shoes on) my little socks were quite dirty however this might be typical for hotels.

Stayed 3 nights first week in Dec 2011, was delightful surprise on the ocean view/balconies, and the cleaniliness of this Quality Inn. The suites are very large squarge footage, carpet appeared to have been installed recently, and the rooms (we had two), were both very clean. The parking was great underneath the motel (no extra cost). The crossover walk to Capistrano Beach and State Park was a very short walk. The only negative that some may have was the frequency of Amtrak trains that parallel the Coast Highway in front of the motel. We visit Orange County frequently to see kids and grandkids and we will definitely be staying at this Quality Inn again.

Stayed here Friday and Saturday 10/28 and 10/29 and had a relaxing time. My wife and I were on a business trip to Vegas and added a few days to see a little of So California and used this as a base and it worked well for us. I travel 80+ days a year on business and stay in a lot of hotels and this fits the model of a beach front hotel. Nothing fancy but was clean and comfortable and the view from our room of the sun setting over the palm trees was superb. Yes the train is loud, but we never heard it after 7:00 pm. Overall a good stay.
