We stayed in the ocean front patio King room. The check in was smooth and the person at the front desk escorted us to our room and also made dinner reservations for us at Robins in Cambria and gave us a coupon to use there. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the view was amazing, well worth the extra bucks we had to fork out for this room. The decor is a little dated but I mean who cares as long as you can see the blue Pacific outside. The gas log fireplace, along with the binoculars and the fully charged flashlight provided for guests to use during their stay were an appreciated amenity. Although the room faces the main road, the traffic noise along with the crowds walking up and down the boardwalk on moonstone beach are not too bothersome. The breakfast was filling and although it did not include any regular hot savory items, the fresh waffles ( made for us by a helpful server), the sweet pastries and bakery items along with hard boiled eggs and a great selection of cereals and fruit made it perfect. The only problem was that the breakfast room/area is extremely small and you will have to carry your breakfast back to your room on trays provided for this purpose. There is also coffee, tea and sparkling cider available all day in the lobby area. All of the above made for a perfect and cozy stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn.
