We loved this hotel! The rooms were very nice ( especially for the price) and the location was great. The best part about this hotel was the service!! The hotel staff went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. They are extremely friendly and ready to help. The hotel offers free breakfast delivered directly to your room. The selection was pretty good, we definitely weren't able to eat everything though. We will definitely be back to the blue dolphin!!

This place was lovely, one of our favourite hotels on our drive from San Diego to San Fran. The rooms were modern and well equipped with high quality equipment. Staff were very welcoming and helped us with restaurant reservations. We got an upgrade to a room with a better view as the hotel was quiet. There were some nice touches... the reception had chairs and towels for the beach, the rooms had big blankets to sit and watch the stars under and a torch to walk along the street with. The breakfasts (packed to take away) were amazing... never knew a packed breakfast could be so tasty. Would highly recommend this hotel.

It is not the fanciest place on Moonstone Drive, but it is always, consistently, one of the best. Beautiful location...the ocean is directly across, welcoming staff, very comfortable rooms. For a little extra cost you can stay at the Cottages, same owners. Both are wonderful. Stayed here many times over the years.

We stayed for one night here, on a mini road trip on PCH, driving from LA to SF. One of closest places you can stay if visiting the Hearst Castle (at least if driving from the South). Our room was nice and spacious, very convenient and nice. Bathroom very nice and must have been renovated recently. The free wifi worked perfectly.

Breakfast was very good - comes in a paper bag which is convenient - there are several benches overseeing the ocean across the street, makes a great setting to enjoy it.

Would recommend to anyone driving on PCH and looking for a nice place to stay close to the Hearst Castle
