We stayed 2 nights in a nice large double queen room on the back of the motel away from Freeway 101 so it was very quiet. Comfortable bed, modern and tidy. I liked the pillows but the other half didn't! Excellent continental breakfast including yoghurts and use of waffle maker. Have your evening meal in the diner right opposite the motel - really good value.

The room was very clean and lots of room. Very good breakfast and polite staff. Would stay here again.

I was in Ventura on business and had to unexpectedly stay an extra day. Other hotels were booked so I gave this Best Western a call and they had a room available at a rate much less than the other places I had tried. Arrived at the hotel and check in was easy and the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean and the internet connection worked well. The breakfast was reasonable. Nothing exciting about it, but the selection of items was good and it was enough to help start the day. The hotel is right off the 101 and is within walking distance of several restaurants. When I had to stay one more night in the area, I called this Best Western again and again they had a room. When I checked in, it was the same woman at the front desk and she recognized me. If I had to be in the same area again, I would probably stay here again. I had previously stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in Oxnard, but also paid $50 more for a room that really wasn't any better. The one drawback to the Best Western was that there was no exercise room.

Business traveler...I was pleasantly surprised how clean and well maintained this hotel is in this price range! Comfortable and close to everything.
