Looked at some motels/inns in the area (there's no big chain hotel there) and noticed that there's a Best Western. Other motels like Hampton Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, or Holiday Inn are normally more expensive. This Best Western is super nice. We stayed in a Best Western Plus in Ridgecrest, CA but this one is much nicer and it's just a regular Best Western. They should make this a "Plus" and the other one as a "Regular". The room is quite spacious and clean. There's a small fridge and a microwave in the room. Wall A/C and free Wi-fi (cable) internet. The only negative is the shower head being so near to the ceiling. Bed is comfortable. Like any other Best Western, there's no elevator so you have to haul your luggage to the second floor. So, if you cannot haul your luggage, ask for the room on the ground floor. Continental breakfast is alright. Complimentary newspaper. Marie Callendar's is just across the street. There's a nearby mall where you can find Ralphs market, Wells Fargo bank, a few small restaurants, a donut shop, etc. Location is very nice. Close to the freeway, and about 1.5 mile from Camarillo Premium outlets. Our room is facing the back (an apartment complex) so we don't hear any noise. Good location and the room is nice, more like a 3.5 star. Will definitely go back if we need to stop by Camarillo again.

Large & clean rooms with easy access. Our family of 5 (2+3), fit very comfortably in the room. Very friendly front office and cleaning staff. Very clean breakfast area with a nice selection to choose from. Wifi signal not so strong but has cable connection inside the room. All in all, excellent value.

Went to Camarillo on business with my wife and a couple of friends. We had a great time.The room was huge and kept spotlessly clean. The internet worked great. Comfortable bed. Across the highway from the huge outlet mall and within walking distance of a number of restaurants.They don't have a restaurant in the hotel...lots nearby .... but they have a little self serve breakfast area where you can get coffee, toast, bagels, waffels, that sort of thing,all included in the room price. They also have a coffee machine in the room. We even had a whirpool tub. May not be the swankiest hotel arround , but for the money I payed and the service and room we had, you can't beat it. Oh ...and my wife left some of her clothes at the hotel, so they sent them to Canada via UPS. Now that is service.

We stayed 2 nights in a nice large double queen room on the back of the motel away from Freeway 101 so it was very quiet. Comfortable bed, modern and tidy. I liked the pillows but the other half didn't! Excellent continental breakfast including yoghurts and use of waffle maker. Have your evening meal in the diner right opposite the motel - really good value.
