My wife and I stayed here over the thanksgiving holidays. We found the Wisteria to be a delightful place. The rooms where spacious, clean, and well appointed.
The Wisteria is only two blocks from the center of town, easy walking distance. The owners also provide a pair of single speed bicycles that can be used to explore the local area. They are located on a quite residential street.
The breakfast is a true continental style of fruits, light pastries, OJ, which is left at your door each morning.
The courtyard has BBQ that guests can use, and a firepit. We didn't BBQ, but did have two nice evenings to enjoy the firepit while sampling local wines and cheeses that we bought during the day.
The rooms have a frige, microwave, space heaters, TV with a plethora of channels to watch, and a VCR.
For us what pushed this venue to Excellent for us is that they are pet friendly and REASONABLE. Unlike a lot of so called "pet friendly" venues, they don't soak visitors with a huge "deposit" (we've seen places that want up to $100 per night per pet). The Wisteria's $25.00 surcharge is fair and reasonable. Bringing our pets some turkey was also very thoughtful.
