If you're looking for a top quality, but reasonably priced place to stay in the Napa Valley, then you should consider the Cottage Grove Inn in Calistoga, CA. The Inn is a rendition of the original 1930's "auto court" that was on the site. Each room is a separate cottage with a parking space at or nearby. Every room as its own theme, a fireplace, sitting area, and large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The main house provides a wonderful breakfast and an afternoon cheese and wine buffet. Add privacy, nearby restaurants, mineral spas, and a caring staff to make a this a winner.

We found the Cottage Grove Inn through a Groupon, and though we had no previous experience there decided to "go for it." It was a totally DELIGHTFUL experience. We loved the individual cottages with their lovely, comfortable furnishings. The gas fireplace and 2 comfy chairs before it were just what we needed. We also thoroughly enjoyed a delightful breakfast each morning. The service was super and the staff very helpful. We also totally pampered ourselves by indulging in a couple's massage. Having just been through a stressful season of life, it was just what we needed. We plan to go there again, and we hope that it's soon!

I have been going to Calistoga for years and somehow I have missed this lovely hideaway. I will return again and again though. Their attention to detail is simply outstanding. I am sorry about the circumstances involving one of the reviewers. I too had a little problem in the beginning because I called later and got an answering service. But to their credit they tried very hard to answer my questions. I realized that it would be better if I called during the day. Each cottoge provides privacy and has all the comforts of home and has a different decorating theme. Refrigerator, coffee, the best linens and products. Try the lavender bath salts in the big jacuzzi tub. The fireplace provides a wonderful romantic touch. The Breakfast was wonderful too - smoothies, lattes, quiche. It is so close to everything that you definately can walk or ride a bike they offer. Also for those excursions to wine country they provide a complimentary picnic bag as well that you can use. My husband and I found this through Groupon with an amazing deal but we will return absolutely at full price.

We stayed at the Cottage Grove Inn for 2 nights in January. We booked the package through Luxury Link and the package was just as offered. We absolutely loved our stay at the Cottage Grove Inn. All of the staff was so wonderful and helpful. Dinner recommendations were spot on! We stayed in Cottage 4 and loved how cozy and private it was - the bed was so comfortable. We loved the jacuzzi tub and they have the best shower head in the shower. Breakfast was so good every morning. My husband kept commenting on how good the coffee and waffles were. I enjoyed the ham and cheese quiche along with the fresh fruit and biscuits.
