“A romantic getaway”

My boyfriend and I stayed here on a rainy weekend near Valentine's Day, and had a beautiful time. The cottages are cozy and warm, perfect for a winter getaway. The beds are so comfortable and the inn provides nice amenities like bathrobes and warm breakfast brought to your door each morning. The whole wheat croissants were amazing! The innkeepers also provided a nice touch with a personalized welcome message awaiting us. We would definitely come back.

“Best B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

We had a great stay at Aurora Park Cottages over New Years Eve in Calistoga. The cottages are a very good size and in a great location. The wineries around Calistoga are more intimate and less commercial than then one's in Napa. The town of Calistoga is similar and has several great restaurants. The innkeaper, Kate, was extermely helpful and nice. She brought fresh breakfast every morning (pastries, fresh fruit, juice), was a great source of local information, and even loaned us a cooler for a picnic. The cottages have wonderful beds/sheets, small radios that you can plug your ipod/iphone into, and the usual ammenities of a hotel room. They also have complinmentary jelly beans that get refilled throughout your stay! In addition, they have really nice decks which can be great for relaxing in the evening if the weather is nice. We'd definitely recommend this B&B. It's private, in a great location, and the owner/operators were very hospitable. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer...but we'll definitely be returning!

“Loved Aurora Park Cottages!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

My husband and I along spent a wonderful weekend at Aurora Park Cottages! Calistoga is such a beautiful area in Napa Valley. It was a wonderful and cozy romantic cottage. Great breakfast, great bedding, great secluded little hide away! We have stayed in other areas in Napa, and this is by far our favorite. We will come back again someday.

“Privacy and knowledge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

We really enjoyed our stay at A.P. because we prefer the cottage style B&B versus a communal for privacy reasons. The accommodations were spacious - even with our king size bed - and provided a comfortable sitting area and breakfast nook. The bed and linens almost made it difficult to go wining...almost. We also loved the coffee that they provided. Rich and flavorful. Thankfully, Celeste and Joe were very helpful in identifying vineyards off the beaten path and helped arranged our tastings. We found that once we got to our vineyards, our pourer was eager to to introduce us to their wines and take the time to let us know about their vineyard - a nice change from some that try to just move you through and sell you on clubs and cases. We would have never experienced these options if we were to explore the valley on our own. Once we returned, we enjoyed dinner in Calistoga - maybe a 10-15 minute walk. Joe and Celeste were great about making a recommendation in town for us. Overall, we felt the accommodations reflected a more personal touch and and a genuine interest in helping us make the most of our stay with them. When we visit Napa again, we will definetly be back to stay!

Room Tip: Our cottage was terrific. Assuming the rest are the same, it would be tough to go wrong.

“kind, understanding and accommodating!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2011

My husband and I recently enjoyed a vacation to Calistoga with our 16 month old daughter. This was the first time we tried this with a baby, or since the baby! We had made reservations somewhere else the first two nights and a few days prior to our trip, we were thinking about booking a 3rd night somewhere new. After much research, I called Aurora Park Cottages and spoke to Joe, who was very personable. I felt like I already knew him, the first time we spoke. He made me feel welcome and eased any worries I had about bringing the baby. ( They offer portacribs for the baby.) I told him that as much as we wanted to and hoped to stay our 3rd night with them in Calistoga, we were battling committing (financially) to the 3rd night because we weren't sure how it would be going by that time with our baby, especially since the weather report wasn't looking to be very dry. He told us that he understood our situation and if our daughter's mood was such that it would make the trip unenjoyable, that he would waive the cancellation charge. That eased our concerns and we made our reservation. When the time came to check in with Aurora Park, it was about to rain again and our daughter was definitely ready to go home. We went over to Aurora Park and talked to Joe. He very graciously didn't charge us for the reservation we didn't keep. He was compassionate to our needs as a young family and still happily showed us the beautiful cottage. Just sitting on the bed made me want to spend the night, it was so comfortable. The cottage was spacious and cozy and I look forward to staying there another time in the future. Speaking to and meeting Joe made it clear that we would be well taken care of and any way they could help our stay, they would do so. It is very rare to find someone in this business that is people oriented enough to give a break when it feels reasonable to do so, rather than blankly go with "business as usual" and just swipe our card and charge us for a night we wouldn't spend there. Thank You Joe, and Aurora Park Cottages, we look forward to spending time there!

Room Tip: I would want to be in a cottage further up the hill. The views are great from all of them however!
