My husband and I stayed at the Silver Rose Inn recently and were very disappointed with the quality of this Inn in in relation to the price we paid. The room was average size and clean, but to our surprise there was no TV. We weren't asking for a huge plasma - an average tube TV would have helped. Calistoga is quite a delightful place and we certainly plan on coming back, but will stay elsewhere - there are several other Inns in much better locations with amazing amenities that we found during our stay, but couldn't move as the Silver Rose Inn did not offer any refunds.

A TripAdvisor Member We had a package deal with our Elopement Package which included 2 nights at The Silver Rose Inn, after reading a few reviews I was kind of scared. But what a suprise!! The place was sooo cute and beautiful. We stayed in the Library room, a huge jacuzzi tub, and the patio was right in the vineyard itself. Great staff! Very helpful. We had two of the spa packages, the lady was great! They were all very friendly. They even took a few pictures of us right before our wedding and emailed them to us. It was very nice since we don't get the professional pictures right away. I really enjoyed how quiet and serene it was there. The breakfast was included, just a fruit plate and homemade muffins, but it was excellent. Very fresh fruit and the mufffins were big and fresh.

In between hotel and bed and breakfast. Warm welcome, good service ( we got 2 massages within 15' at 6pm without having booked ...). Quite a large room very clean with hot tub inside the room ( we stayed at the silver rose inn closed to the swimming pool). It's quiet and we had a very good night. A ( good) restaurant is located just across the road ( in Solage hotel)
All in all I would recommand this hotel

My wife and I stayed at the Silver Rose Inn on July 3rd for one night because we were attending a wedding at a nearby winery. We thought that this would be a nice, romantic inn nestled amongst the vineyards in beautiful Calistoga - WRONG!

What we got was a room with all pink tile, pink walls, floral wallpaper, an old brass bed, a tiny shower, paint peeling, stains on the walls, a green shut down pool, and an awful smell that can't be described.

It was horrible to say the least. I would have switched rooms or even hotels if we were not running late for the wedding. For what we paid this was probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The only good thing about this place is the free breakfast and the muffins.

We will never come back to this hotel - we are better off staying at the Best Western, or maybe even our car.
