We spent 2 nights at the Mount View on a Travelzoo deal. It was a great value as it also included dinner and a hydrotherapy treatment. The rooms were small, as I expected from an older hotel, but they were still very comfortable. The bed was awesome! So comfy. My only complaints were the lack of storage and lighting. The room had no dresser, but did have a nice sized closet. Unfortunately there was no light in the closet, so we had to either bring the suitcase out of the closet, or use a flashlight to find our things. The bathroom had only a tiny shelf and table. Barely enough room for our toothbrushes. Lighting in the room was poor as well. Not enough light to read. We still had a wonderful stay. The staff was very welcoming.

Room was spacious and comfortable complete with bottle of wine from local winery.Staff were very helpful in recommending restaurants and giving directions. Liked being able to walk to restaurants and shops.

I had an excellent "girls spa trip" here with my best friend. We booked an overnight spa package and loved every moment of it.

The front desk staff was professional and welcoming. Our room was classic with a modern feel. The room was small, but felt spacious (except for the strange dresser in the closet!), and the decor was fun. We spent the afternoon walking around downtown Calistoga and enjoying the shops and sights. We had dinner at the connecting Barolo restaurant. The food and service was excellent and their happy hour deals were amazing ($2 cocktails!!)

We enjoyed a dip in the hot tub before bed, and were welcomed the next morning by breakfast in bed! It included a few pastries, fresh fruit, and coffee and tea. You get to select the time range in which your breakfast is delivered, and ours came at just the perfect time!

After checking out of our room, we spent the afternoon in the spa. The lavender spa bath was sooooooo relaxing, and we spent some time in the sauna, hot tub and heated pool as well.

A la carte, some of the amenities we enjoyed would have seemed pricey. The package deal was definitely worth it.

My husband and I spent a lovely night at the Mount View. We were expecting it to be nice, but it far exceeded our expectations. The staff made us feel so welcome and pampered. The room was modern, but warm and artistic with tons of delightful details. The spa treatment (bubbling lavender jacuzzi for 2 and steam bath) was exceptionally delicious and relaxing. We also quite enjoyed the sauna, pool and hot tub.
