I stayed at the Brawley Inn during August. Let me tell you it is HOT in Brawley in August , 111 degrees the day I was there.

I came to Brawley in August for a birding field trip with the Los Angeles Audubon Society. The Brawley Inn was recomended by them.

I was not disappointed. I found the desk help pleasant and friendly. I was allowed to check-in 2 hours before the stated check-in time. Given the heat I was more then thankfull for that.

I don't ask a lot from a motel room. I want a clean, safe, pest free room. The Brawley Inn more then delivered. My room was large (a bonus), clean and I felt very safe and secure. No bugs or other critters in my room.

The nicest thing was finding that the air conditioning was on in the room. Thank goodness. Did I mention it was HOT outside?!

There was a fridge and microwave in the room. Also a small utility sink next to the microwave.

The bathroom was decent size (by motel standards). The shower had decent water pressure. This is an issue with me. I hate whimpy water pressure. It makes it hard to get all the shampoo rinsed out of my hair. The only draw back would be the height of the bath tub. Goodness I don't think I've ever had to step so high to get into a tub. Not a real issue for me, but this could be for an elderly person.

I had free high-speed internet service. It was great. I was able to watch live streaming videos with no problem.

If I ever return to the Salton Sea I would definately stay at the Brawley Inn.

Poor Accomadations, staff very unproffessional an overall very bad experience!!!!!!!

I wish I brought my camera to show you how my suite looks. I arrived at the inn today and it exceeded my expectation! From the outside, I expected another comfort inn like motel, but once I stepped into my suite, I was definitely surprised. I booked a King Suite through the hotel's website. It has a large bathroom with a marble? countertop, a large and comfy king bed, a microwave, a mini frig, a large tv, large wardrobe, a art deco-ish couch, ...just adorable. I've stayed at many 3-4 star hotels for business and this place beats many of those hotels.

The only con about my suite is that...the previous guest left a bottle of water in the frig. and a few pieces of clothing in the dresser. That's a little odd, but I'm happy.

The hotel staff wasn't bad or spectacular...I mean this place is in the middle of nowhere so I'm not going to be that picky.

I disagree with the previous message on the Brawley Inn. The place is extremely clean and has a wonderful staff. I've stayed here many times on business travels I've always gotten a good response from the front desk, housekeeping and the manager. They have free internet in their new building in back and dial up in the front. I've been told they will have wireless throughout the place soon. The only thing negative I could say is that I had gotten accustomed to never making a reservation in advance but now it has become a very popular place to stay at so you need to make reservations in advance. I think the person in the previuos message did not do this. I've been staying at this place for over a year and have always found my room and the hotel as a whole extremly clean.
