We stayed for 2 nights from Dec 25-27. That is peak season for Big Bear Lake and the cheapest i found for those dates. We got room 130.
We got non-smoking room at the back (more quiet). But its right next to Snowplay so we just walked around and left our car by motel 6 parking slot.
Bathroom and beds are clean per motel standard.
Nothing fancy at this motel and dont expect hotel amenities. There is none. No microwave, no fridge. But that's ok. This is a motel anyways. Dont expect "hotel" linens and pillows and blankets. Although cheap looking, they are clean and they smell clean.
Beds? They are not "hotel" beds but we didnt see bugs.
Walls? Do not expect designed wallpapers like you see in hotels. They just painted the room plain. No design.
But bathroom is clean. Shower is tiny but what the heck, its a motel. But its clean. No grimes, no dirt.
Again this is a motel so i cant give them 4 or 5.
But i will give them 5 if all motels are like this motel. We've been to other motels and i would say this motel is a lot lot lot better. I guess because this is part of Accor group.
This is far better than the $250 per night "log" cabin we got 2 years ago.
For $95 per night (the cheapest on those dates). Its worth it.
