“Comfortable and convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

The hotel is situated at the middle of Rodeo drive, with convenient access to main transport routes - Wilshire blvd and Santa Monica blvd. Small but extremely cozy rooms (with powerful air conditioning), wonderful bed linens, and invisible staff (although everything works perfeclty almost entirely by itself).
The breakfasts are good, if a bit too small, quite a selection of alcohol at the bar. Please don't expect good view from the windows.

If you're in U.S. to spend some money for shopping - this is the place to stay at in Beverly Hills.

We had the opportunity to visit this hotel with my husband in early January. As first time visiting LA we struggled to understand which is the most suitable place to stay in the city as it is difficult to find out which is the most convenient one: Hollywood, Down Town or Beverly Hills?
If you want to taste once the lavish side of life...this is the place to be. Luxe hotel at Rodeo Drive is the only hotel ON Rodeo Drive, giving you easy and quick access to all top designers shops. Some very nice restaurants are located around the hotel giving you different dining options of an average price of 60USD pp.
Let's talk now about the hotel. All you pay for is the location and a moderate minimal room decoration. The room was spacious and quite, with balcony overlooking a nicely decorated terrace opposite the hotel. The service is somehow indifferent; the breakfast is simply ok (not included in the price) however the worst experience we had was with room service.
After a long long flight and arriving somehow late at LA we depended on taking our dinner at the hotel, assuming to be nice as the hotel is considered as luxury, charging 300USD per night.
A rich menu is available before 10pm and a more condensed one after that time. At that moment we were lucky to order before 10pm. Food of moderate to low quality, served for two people on a tray, rather than a trolley. We were advised by the room service guy to place it either on the bed (!) or the desk nearby the TV. Two days after, we decided to order again at 11pm, picking from the available dishes for the time. We were highly disappointed to hear that they prepare only 1 plate per dish (for the whole hotel) and that we were not that lucky since somebody else ordered a couple of minutes ago. It was out of the question to prepare for us simple pasta or a club sandwich so we have spent the night starving. This is not considered to be service of a luxury hotel of its kind.
Our recommendation is to pick this hotel for the right reasons and to manage your expectations before visiting

Room Tip: Try a room at the back of the hotel; much more quiet

“Perfectly located in the heart of Rodeo Drive”

I had a chance to spend a couple of days here recently and was quite impressed. Its a smaller hotel with minimal staffing as boutique hotels are but the service here was spectacular! As soon as you get off the elevator, the front desk is directly to your right and staffed by very qualified professionals who are eager to help you with any questions. A few steps more to the right and the valet attendent is standing there ready and at your service! Its amazing how fast they get your car to you. Never had to wait more than a few minutes. This hotel is perfectly located in the center of Rodeo drive and, by Beverly Hills standards at least, was quite reasonably priced at around $350 per night. It has a small restauarant with excellent food! The rooms are small but clean and very comfortable. You are in easy walking distance of all of Rodeo Drive, Spago's, Nate And Al's, and dozens of other quality restaurants and super upscale shopping. I would highly recommend you take the trolley tour that departs one block from the hotel and takes you on a 45 minute drive all over Beverly Hills and priced at $15 per adult was again, reasonable. My wife and daughter have been on this tour with me on 3 occasions and we never get tired of seeing the beautiful homes, parks, churches, etc.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for the larger of the two rooms types they offer as I dont think it was that much...

“Luxe as in "luxed out"”

"The Hotel is not obligated to facilitate your preferences" Luxe Service Manager. And they didn't. From the quiet room request to a room over the entrance and car park, to the room suitable for 3 people but instead even by removing furniture we clambered over each other and luggage and a luxury hotel on Rodeo Drive which it most certainly isn't.
The breakfast area also caters to outside tourists so we were obligated to sit outside at a table in our coats. Luckily we were going to New York and had the gear because it was only 11 degrees celsius (51F).
So in short, a great location, a 3 star hotel which is need of a makeover and staff with attitude. You can do better, after 1 night - we did!

Our intimate boutique hotel consists of 86 distinguished guest rooms. We are often booked given our amazing location. With numerous repeat guests, and new guests, our management team does our best to accommodate all requests. Most common requests, are rooms with balconies or our Rodeo Drive views. There are few times, that all requests can be met, but we do try our hardest to adhere to all requests. We apologize for our indoor restaurant for being full, we recently bought new inviting heaters for our Rodeo Drive outdoor restaurant, but we are excited for our most recent beautiful spring weather in Beverly Hills!

“Okay hotel, nothing like expected”

Was wanting a safe area to stay but close to attractions so you didnt have to drive and park. Hotel was way too far from most attractions. Rodeo Dr is very very dead at night and there was not anything to do on a Sat night. Driving the car was a huge hassle because they have it parked underground. Each and every time you have to get your car out, someone has to get it for you and it takes at least 10-15 min. Then its impossible to park in Hollywood. The hotel was nice but not too impressive. In a "nice" area but its also a dead area.

We appreciate your feedback. We understand Los Angeles layout is very spread out. Our location in the heart of Beverly Hills, is ideal for guests who want to be centrally located, but in the quiet village of Beverly Hills. In the evening the location is very peaceful and quiet. The exciting night life of West Hollywood is about 10 minutes away, and we are about 20 minutes away from the beach and downtown. Our concierges can always suggest the best way a getting around the city, and knowledgeable of parking areas in Hollywood.
