We took a chance on Hotwire, trying to find a hotel near enough SFO and got this at a very reasonable rate. We had a flight at 10:30am on a Sunday and I knew the distance would not be a problem - I would not take that chance on a weekday or midday on a weekend without leaving yourself more time. That said, the hotel was excellent. Francis was at the front desk when we arrived and when we left and he was very accommodating - he shifted rooms for people and recommended a fantastic Afghan restaurant across the street. The room was quiet (we were not on the El Camino side, but we were near the elevator) and our bed was very comfortable - not sagging at all. We also had a larger "suite" with a couch - I'm not sure how much larger our room was from others, but in comparison with the Holiday Inn Express in Chowchilla, it was just as large. The internet worked great for us and there is an exercise room at no charge. The breakfast was more than sufficient - eggs, pancakes, sausage, yogurt, milk, cereal, biscuits and gravy - self serve - and HOT! It is a good idea to ask to be on the opposite side of the El Camino Real just to make sure you get no road noise. This is definitely a safe place to stay if you are traveling alone. Staff is around at all hours and very attentive.
