My friend and I checked into this hotel to stay 2 nights while we shopped the outlets in Cabazon California. We booked online through Expedia.com. The hotel was not reasonably clean, the sheets had stains on the pillow cases, there were dirty streaks on the bathroom door, the toilet ran, and there were red stains on the carpet. We did have maid service daily. The innkeeper was a very strange man who did not appear to respect guest boundaries. My friend and I felt uncomfortable being two women traveling alone. He was overly friendly when we checked in, and would not release the locking door. He also called our room each day we were there asking for phone numbers for reservation information and to invite us for waffles at the continental breakfast. We did not use the pool, lobby, or eat breakfast after out interaction with the innkeeper. I believe the 75$ per night we spent was too high. The innkeeper did mention he would charge us less "if we called him first you know."

Traveled to Beaumont to celebrate a friends birhtday. At the last minute we decided to stay at our friends house instead of the Roadway. Made the call to cancel but we were a few minutes past the deadline. Well, we were going to be charged for the 1 one stay anyway so we decided to check in. One of the best decisions we ever made. Upon check-in we met Bob (the manager). Bob was very friendly, it felt as if we were old friends. Since it was 2 women travel alone, I requested the first room on the property closet to the street. Bob was able to accomodate.

Once in our room, we found it to be very clean and spacious. Good enough for what we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding very warm. Being that we stayed in the first room, i was expecting alot of street noise. To my surprise, i had a sound sleep. No noise what so ever.

On the morning of our departure, Bob prepared some great filling waffles which he does on a regular basis. GREAT!!!!! They were just what I needed to start my day. Thanks Bob.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a smaller property and kind of motor-lodge looking from the outside, but found the room to be very comfortable and spacious. The bedding and pillows were also very comfortable. I really enjoyed meeting Bob, the manager. He was extremely friendly and gracious.

All in all, for a $50 hotel room, it was a very easy and comfortable stay, and reminded me that hospitality still exists out there in the hotel industry.

Perfectly located near Palm Springs and picturesque local mountains, this cozy inn was a great find. We had the greatest hotel experience you could ask for, and it was a great value too! The service was outstanding. The manager was extremely nice and hospitable, and he made us feel right at home. He even made our waffles for us as part of our free continental breakfast in the morning. The rooms were simple, yet immaculate, and the free wireless internet was very fast.

Basically, my family and I have only great things to say about this inn. We had absolutely no complaints or problems with our stay.

What we loved the most about the hotel was the personal touch that we felt staying there. You won't be able to find more friendly and personable service anywhere else.
