We checked in easily with the front desk. They were very friendly and willing. We were going to a concert that night at Soboba Casino featuring Stevie Nicks and Chris Isaac. Since all the motels in Hemet/San Jacinto were booked, we had to book 14miles away in Banning, right off the 10 freeway. Still, the room was clean as a whistle, fluffy pillows & comfy beds were great plus a microwave and mini refrigerator were a nice touch. Subway and Starbucks are right next door so you won't starve and you'll be comfortably buzzed in the morning. Although there is a continental breakfast, it is miniscule and there's no place to sit down, simply carry out. The negatives in our room was a non-working hair dryer which we tried to fix but it needed to be replaced. The tub had a little age with some dark dings on the bottom. The stucco job in the bathroom which has had been repaired(?) left little to the imagination. Below average. I did hear a couple of thudding arounds at 3am on the second floor but I just cranked my ocean machine at night. Just a heads up, there is no safe to put your valueables in their rooms so hide your stuff carefully.

I thought this motel was actually really nice! The rooms were newly painted and very clean. Good service (a bit slow, but whatever) but a great stay overall! Don't let the bad reviews scare you!

When I first arrived, there were two girls (19 at most) doing their homework at the front desk. They saw me, but decided to continue on homework until I asked if I could be helped. Even then, they had attitude an obviously didn't want to help me.

It took them 10 minutes to figure out how to book the room. I paid $80something for a so-so room and poor service.

Room was fair, not bad, but not great. Clean with soft linens, but nothing to write home about.

I stayed at this motel on Feb 24th, 2005 while Enroute to Palm Springs to catch a flight. This is rated exactly as I would rate it...a two star. Nothing More, nothing less. Believe it or not, this was the most expensive motel I stayed at during my 2 week driving junket of So California. They really gouged me for a room, but we were tired and I had heard that rooms were out of this world in Palm Springs price wise so we decided to stop in and chance it. I paid $75 / night with tax including Gov't discount (What a Deal), for what I would have paid $40/night for in Anaheim or $55 in San Diego and Had a pool and hot tub too. I don't know how these little guys can get away with it? Suckers like me, caught in the middle of nowhere, I guess!

The motel is located right at the freeway off ramp of I-10 and 22nd? What I didn't realize when I took the room was that a train crosses 22nd, parallelling I-10. When a train crosses any road it has to blast it's whistle so you can figure out the rest.

They really need to lay the law down with their waste puck up company too, who paid an 8 am service call to pound the hell out their trash bin with a forklift truck. Haven't they ever heard of people sleeping in? If you are looking for some peace and quiet, this is definately not the place for you.

Putting my few grievences aside, like $$ and no pool/hot tub, this was a clean comfortable motel, with soft linnen. It was cozy and had fresh paint and the nice people who ran it obviously care about it and if you are drop dead tired it was a good place to crash. Despite the 6 am wake up call by the West bound Amtrak Express. I paid almost as much for a place in North Hollywood that should have come with a bulletproof vest, but thats what you get when you grab a place on impulse. Hope this helps someone!
