I stayed at the Courtyard in Baldwin Park while on business from the East Coast in California. I found the hotel to be clean and well kept. All of the staff that I interacted with were friendly, helpful, and professional. This includes the front desk, the cleaning personnel, and the restaurant personnel. The rooms were average sized and clean.

The bar was great too. They had a wide selection of alcohol and gave quite generous drinks. There was also a happy hour where light refreshments were served. The restaurant at the hotel was phenomenal. I ate there two of the nights I was there, and both times my meal did not dissapoint. The shrimp was delicious, and so was the salmon. All of the entrees were served with lots of fresh mixed vegetables. I have a very particular diet, and the restuarant was able to accomodate me without diffculty.

What I did not like was the location of the hotel. It seems to be in a somewhat underdeveloped area that did not give me the safest feeling. My hotel room actually overlooked into the backyards of homes in the neighboring community, and they looked pretty run-down. But, there were no problem with people loitering and/or safety.

We stayed here while attending a baseball tournament with our 10U team at nearby West Covina. The hotel was very accomodating and the staff extremely friendly and professional. The rooms were average size, with a slightly larger bathroom than most hotels of this caliber. They were clean, with nice furniture and bedding, and we found the beds comfortable. The outdoor pool and whirlpool was nice for the kids at the end of the day, with plenty of chairs and towels. They have a restaurant and bar area that was pretty good overall, with a buffet breakfast in the mornings. There are several other restaurants nearby, so there is a large selection. The area was quiet and right off the 10 freeway for easy access to the baseball fields. I would definately stay at this hotel the next time we have a tourney in the area.

Stayed at the Marriott while attending a family funeral at Rose Hills as there were no good options in Whittier. Reservation process via phone w/ Tyler was seamless - even arranged for an early check-in for us. Very clean & comfortable & freeway close (literally along side the 10 Fwy). Would definitely recommend when visiting the SGV area.

I stayed at this Hotel to attend an event in nearby City of Industry and was wonderfully surprised because of the location being right off the freeway.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful from check in through checkout. It was in a great location with good dining options and late night food in walking distance. The room had free internet and had been updated with energy efficient lighting and sensors, coffee maker and fridge.There was a nice restaurant and bar in the lobby area and although there were events going on downstairs in the hotel, it was nice and quiet. The parking area was well lit and upkept which made me feel safe coming in late at night.
This was a great place to stay and is on my list if I have to be in the area again.
