My son and I had stopped here on our way to Sacramento, CA. Thankfully my son had waited in car (he is disabled). I walked into a very dark and dirty looking lobby. Looks more like a place they would rent rooms by the hour. Upon returning to my car I then noticed about 10 homeless people hanging in parking lot. Too creepy for us. We also had tried another hotel a few blocks away, which was next to a very loud strip club. Needless to say, we got back on the highway.

Really enjoyed the stay. Very reasonable rate, clean room, and great service. The morning breakfast was good. No soap or shampoo in the room, but all one needed to do was ask the front desk and they provided it. Good area to walk dogs behind the hotel.

As a La Quinta frequent traveler, I made a reservation for my daughter while she was driving back to school with her friend. They arrived late at night after a 15 hour drive, moved into the room with her dog, unpacked, etc. Then she discovered that the bathroom and room had been cleaned but no clean sheets and no clean linens. However, the bed had been made over the dirty sheets. ANYONE working at this hotel, checking this room would have noticed the used, dirty washcloth, hair in the shower, the bedsheets with yellow stains, etc etc. She called the front desk, who had no appropriated rooms available. Also had no cleaning staff available. She finally asked for clean sheets and they made their own beds! I tried to call customer service at La Quinta and was told they are not open until after the holidays. This is my only recourse: WARN OTHER TRAVELERS.

I thought this was a good value for the low price. They don't charge extra for dogs so we liked that. The location was close to major roads so it is convenient for people stopping for a quick overnight. There were places to eat within walking distance. It is a pretty noisy area though. As for the room, it was a little small, but average for a budget hotel. I though the bed was very soft and comfortable. The bathroom was too small. The shower head was very low and the towels were really thin and small. The breakfast had average food available, but it was set up in a chaotic way and they didn't keep it stocked well when we were there.
