Hotel was nice. The grounds around the pool area were nice. I was in my room a lot, so it was nice to have a ground floor room with a pool view. You have a sliding glass door, so you can open up the door and get some fresh air. The bed was very comfortable. I have a bad back, so I always worry when I go to hotels if I will toss and turn all night. The rooms are advertised as remodeled, but I would say they are partially remodeled. The beds are nice and the bathroom counters have granite however, the wallpaper on the walls was old and discolored. The doors were old as well. They have new flat panel TV's as well. As long as your not super picky it shouldn't bother you. Although there was a wedding on the grounds things were quiet. The overall service was very good. They have a sports bar I would have liked to enjoy, but it was closed for remodeling...however the website doesn't let you know that when booking your reservation. The cafe food was good, not great. I ate there twice for breakfast. The first day I had the breakfast buffet. The food was okay, but mostly cold. I think they were having trouble with the warmers. The second time I ordered breakfast from the menu and it was 10x better, and a much better value for your money in my opinion. The only gripe I would have is I never saw any luggage carts, nor do they have Bell service, so lugging all my luggage was not fun because it was quite a haul even when I parked as close to my room location as possible.
