This location is very clean and the staff is attentive and respectful. They honored my requests made when I had made the reservation and had extra pillows and towels ready in the room. The concierge lounge was stocked and breakfast was to be expected. If you want something fuller, the restaurant downstairs offers a breakfast buffet for $12 with more options.

We trailed to Bakersfield on January 7th for my six year old gymnastic meet. We stayed ine night at the Marriott at a great rate of 80.00. The hotel was very, very clean and the room was big, king bed with couch. When we got to our room about five minutes later we received a call from the front desk asking if we liked the room....very unexpected. That evening my hubby got us a couple glasses of wine from the lounge at the happy hour prices and we ordered a snack from the restaurant downstairs which we picked up to avoid the 18% service charge. The restaurant still placed the food in a nice tray with all the trimmings (rather than styrofome as they were suppose to). My son had the shrimp cocktail, and we had the three dip chip tray which included hummus, salsa and spinach dip. And vanilla ice cream "with a cherry on top" as my son had requested We ordered a movie and we were set for the evening. Very good food, comfortable room, comfortable bed and excellent service.

We stayed here on a Thursday night. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a large TV, a nice bathroom, a desk, and a small closet.
We had a work party so we ate the catered food from the hotel, which was very good. We didn't actually go to the restaurant, but the menu had a variety of items. The hotel also has a pool and a fitness room, which is nice (especially if you're there during the summer!).
We had a room that faced the railroad tracks, and the trains go by at all times during the night. Luckily we were able to go right back to sleep if we were woken up, but if you are a very light sleeper this might be bad. Also, room service ends at 11pm, which seemed a little too early for me, but I got over it.
Overall we had a very comfortable stay and if something brought us to the downtown area we would likely stay here again. The rates were very reasonable, the location is good, and the bed is comfortable!!

I never had bad bugs in my life and I didn’t even know how they look. I bite marks all over my face and it took about a week for they to go away. I looked terrible!. I read the reviews before booking this hotel but I never believed it would happen to me :(

Exhausted when I arrived. Very slow hotel shuttle. Room was ok. Room service was nothing exciting. People were nice and that is what matters!
