Don't bother with this place unless you are a deep, deep sleeper. One of the most disappointing Best Western's I've ever stayed in. The hotel is located in a so-so neighborhood that looks like it might be on the way up. Directly across from a very nice looking library and convenient to downtown. I sense they have had problems in the past given their sign to limit their liability. "Public access to this area can't be controlled. Hotel liability limited." The property consists of multiple buildings. I was in the one (rooms # 100-125 & 200-225) across the moat from what looked like the main building. The place reeked of air freshener that they must get by the 50gal drum. It still doesn't cover the basic funk of an older hotel. The worst part of this hotel was the tissue thin walls and gaps around the hallway door and the connecting door to the next room. You could hear everything. My neighbors came back to their room about 2AM or so. I don't think they were being loud the sound just carried. Sound carried from the hallway too. Didn't make for a very restful sleep. When I mentioned the issue to the front desk when i checked out the clerk gave me the dead man walking look and said he would mention it to his supervisor. Decent sized room with some upgrades but an overall grubby appearance. A previous review mentions the ongoing roofing work. There were pallets of roofing tile staged around the property so I sense this will be going on for a while. The free breakfast buffet was as low rent as you could go and still be considered breakfast.
