I haven't stayed at the hotel and it's absolutely horrible. i stayed at the one in vegas and my experiences were completely different, like night and day. I booked my reservation online, but i received a message saying the online system is down and the reservation cannot be made. i called the hotel to let them know. the person at the front desk said the reservation could not be made because they are completely booked for the weekend. i asked if my reservation had gone through at all. she told me no. so, ok. i moved on and i proceeded to book another hotel. Two days later, the same front desk person calls me and tells me that i've been booked for two rooms. Of course, I'm upset and let her know that I had called her two days ago and she told me my reservation didn't go through. she tells me she's only going to cancel one reservation and will not refund me for the other, regardless of whether I stayed there. my question is WHY WAS I BOOKED FOR TWO ROOMS when she told me my reservation DID NOT go through because they were ALL BOOKED. so I spoke to the manager, who was automatically defensive and decided to pick an argument with me over the phone instead of handling it professionally. the manager tells me that she caught the mistake of the double booking. then she tells me she knows nothing of the situation b/c the person at the front desk did not tell her anything and proceeds to take other phone calls. i told the manager that i can be reasonable and if they will not give me a refund b/c of a glitch in their system, they should at least let me have that one room reservation as a credit for me to use another day. the manger proceeded to become more argumentative and repeatedly tell me she doesn't know what is going on.
WAY TO SCREW CUSTOMERS OVER! I've NEVER had such a horrible experience with a hotel EVEN BEFORE staying there! HORRIBLE!!!
