We stay here on our way to Laughlin twice a year from Vancouver Island. This trip, we also stayed there coming back. It always meets our needs. The front desk service is always quick and efficient at check in. The room is always clean and fresh. We always choose a king non smoking room, with a small sofa, coffee table , microwave and bar fridge. The bathroom is always clean and fresh with OK amenities. And, there is free WiFi., which is a convenient bonus for us

It is a mature property, but it is reasonably well maintained with beautiful palms and mature flowers. There is a nice pool area. We enjoy opening the windows ( heat permitting) and listening to the nearby birds singing.

There are fast food and casual restaurants close by. We enjoy the Mimi's Cafe about a ten minute walk away. If we have one area of disappointment here it is the breakfast offerings. The bare basics are here most of the time but the coffee leaves much to be desired. The room coffee is OK. For the cheap price of the stay, I suppose one could always skip the included breakfast and go to the nearby McDonald's instead.

We find the location, both quiet and convenient. We also feel secure here

The outside looks descent. It looks well maintained and clean. There was a lot of parking space. The check in was smooth and easy. They have free wi-fi. They give the wi-fi log in information when you check in. The area is walking distance to at least five fast food joints. We got non-smoking room but when we got in the room, it smelled like cigarette. The room we got has a king bed, kitchenette, sofa, clean restroom, closet, fridge, and t.v. with cable. The bed was really comfortable, not squeaky. The sheets were clean except the comforter had a hole, it looked like burnt from a cigarette.
They have a jacuzzi and a pool. I used the pool and it was pretty clean. I did not get itchy after swimming for 45 minutes.
The shower head in our room was excellent. The flow of the water was even and the temperature was right.
I got a very good deal at expedia for $36/nt so, this place exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

I hate to slam budget motels. They're a predictable option for lower-cost travel, and they don't claim to be something they're not. My Motel 6 / Rodeway / Super 8 days are well-behind me, but I had 8000 Choice Hotel points to burn, so we used them for a quick overnight while passing through at Bakersfield's Rodeway Inn.

Here we go:

Covered parking, pleasant desk, smells like PineSol, peeling paint, worn carpets, faint urine smell from AC. Barking dogs, screaming babies, honking horns. Weekly rates.

Carl's Jr. is literally on-site, or walk to real coffee on the corner. Dining options include Mickey D's, Marie Callender's and Mimi's.

This totally depressing property gets a rating of "average" simply because it is what it says it is: cheap, dependable lodging. And it's cleaner than the Four Points by Sheraton I'm in tonight.

We stayed over here one night enroute from Las Vegas to San Francisco. it exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was here.
The service was fine, friendly desk staff and quick check in. The room was clean and fresh. large with a comfy king size bed, sofa, coffee table , coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The bathroom was spotless with a great shower. The free wi fi worked fine.
We arrived in the middle of the afternoon. The place was quiet and we went for a swim in the pool .
Te location is outside the city centre but there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. We had dinner in the Sizzlers then went for a drink in Martinis which is in the bowling alley. Both places were busy with families out for the evening.
We got down to checkout and have breakfast just on 9'30, which is when breakfast ends. while we pouringg coffee, the food was all cleared away !
I liked the room and the location which suited us for getting back on the highway. Only negative was missing the breakfast, which delayed our depatture a bit as we had to go elsewhere before starting our journey.
