3 star hotel?? I know stars are based on amenities, but yipes. I switched rooms because the cleaning solution smell was overwhelming, and yes, there is a smell in the hallways like chlorine, I assume it's that carpet fresh stuff.
The bartender at the tiny bar was cute and nice, the hotel is right off the highway, and it's a nice location with good parking. That's where the compliments have to end. The wireless was down, so the front desk grumpylady (Lucy, who seems to have been there for going on 72 years now) had ME call the tech support for the hotel. He ended up having to call her and I happened to be down there when he had her on the phone and asked her to go reset the modem. She put the phone down and said out loud "I hate this hate this HATE HATE..." as she walked to the back. Then the Union Pacific guys needed their shuttle to work, so she yells loudly "DANIEL?!??! Did he LEAVE already?!? ARGH!"
So there I was to switch rooms and BOY was she upset about that too. I get that she wasn't thrilled with what was going on, but whew....
The new room smelled musty but tolerable. Clean enough, I didn't mind the small small beds and bathroom cuz I pricelined it for $48, but 3 stars my buttocks!
