My fiancee and i stayed here for 3 days last October, it was a last minute get-away and was good value for money. People need to remember that this isnt a 5* hotel, you get what you pay for. Yes, it may look a bit dated & in need of some TLC but it was cheap, cheerful & clean. The room we had was quite small with a double bed and single bed squeezed in, in my opinion the room would have been much better & spacious without the extra single as there wasnt enough storage space for 2 people nevermind 3, i ended up using the spare single bed to put my clothes etc on. However on the plus side, the room was clean, bed was comfortable & never too hot or cold. The ensuite we had was across the corridor from our room which didnt bother me too much, it was solely used for the room we were in. Again, the bathroom was clean and actually really big with plenty of clean fresh towels for us to use. I cant comment on the food as we never ate there, we were up first thing and usually out for the full day so grabbed something to eat on our travels. Everyone in the hotel was friendly and Tony went out of his way for us, my partner & I both like to play pool & were happy to hear that there was a games room, when we arrived the pool table had been stored away as there was an upcoming event being held in that room a few days later but when we asked about the table he was only too happy to bring it back out again for us. if you're looking for a cheap and cheerful few days away id recommend it, if you want 5* go elsewhere.
