This has to be one of if not the best B & B's in the UK. Stunning location with stunning views of the borders countryside. Quality is what this guest house is all about. Calling it B & B hardly does it justice. If you want the perfect setting for a holiday in the Borders this place ticks all the boxes.

we arrived by motorbike in pouring rain and we were made to feel very welcome. we were shown around this lovely historical property' then we were offered tea in the drawing room we then went for a short walk before retiring for the evening.we had a very pieceful nights sleep and we took breakfast at 9 in the morning the breakfast was magnificant and fit for a king. we would definitely recommend this b+b and we will be returning

Once again what's not to like? Lovely room with everything spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Delicious home cooked scottish breakfast using homeproduce and locally sourced produce especially like the pork and black pudding sausage from the local butcher in Jedburgh. having spent three restful nights we leave feeling relaxed, recharged and well fed. Four nights spent in comfort surpassing our expectations on all fronts. Mr and Mrs Hensen are fantastic at running their beautiful B&B. Each morning spoilt by a great breakfast of own choice from a menu with a Scottish tinge.
The area has not only beautiful scenery, walking paths ,
fishing and golf courses galore, it is for lovers of history a goldmine. Within very easy driving distances you have a wealth of historical buildings to visit.
You could not go wrong choosing Ancrum Craig for a short or longer stay.
Last but not least we found a couple of very good restaurants not too far afield.
