Me and my amazing partner were in a 4 poster room. Fantastic views, beautiful room, lovely bed and nice food. I really hope to be back there very soon.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in December. What a wonderful experience. The hotel staff are wonderful, the scenery is spectacular and the rooms and beds are very comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again.

We have just returned from two great days at the Inn on the Lake,we arrived thursday afternoon and left after breakfast this morning, we thoght we'd better leave early as the forecast was snowy for our return to the north east. The stay was excellent, we had a good room, number 57 which had great views,the view from the bathroom was equally as good, upo arrival we had a small problem with the radiators but a call to reception soon put that right,possibly the problem was caused by the refurbishment work which actually didn't cause us any problems, the hotel will be lovely when the work is complete. The rooms that had beeen completed included the lake view restaurant which was very welcoming and warm with views to die for!!! The food, well, what can I say was of very high standard and tasty, we were not disappointed with anything, the only disappointment was that our time at the Inn on the Lake went too quickly. Roll on our next visit.
As a footnote, it was interesting to read one of the reviews, the person that was disappointed and wasn't charged for the dog.....was he in fact staying at the Inn on the Lake, it didn't sound like it!!
