We stayed at Ca'n Roses in September and it didn't let us down. Lovely quirky hotel. Fantastic swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. Run by the family, all of whom were very helpful. Just a two or three minute stroll to the centre of Soller.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite, because we wanted twin beds and that was the only room they had left. It was great with fabulous views over the mountains.

However, nothing is perfect and we did have a couple of moans. Firstly, the airconditioning in our suite wasn't really strong enough and both rooms were pretty hot giving us not very comfortable nights..

Secondly, the hotel was quite expensive, but they charged extra for a boiled egg (or any sort of cooked egg) at breakfast. Having said that, the breakfasts were great and you didn't really need an egg as well!

We would definitely stay again!

What a great place. 2 minutes walk from the central square you stand in a tiny little street (no cars) in front of a big wooden door. This opens up onto a charming old courtyard around which the main house is arranged with rooms looking down into the sun filled yard. Behind the main house is the real surprise: a garden full of palm trees, citrus trees, a pool, Bali seats and even a friendly old Labrador. Seldom have I stayed in a hotel where I actually wanted to spend time as opposed to getting out and seeing the surrounding countryside/town - soller is a lovely town and the Ca'n Roses is the perfect place to stay. The family running the place deserve a special mention as they were friendly, very helpful and kind but in no way obtrusive. We had a lovely time can thoroughly recommend this wonderful hotel for all who want to relax and enjoy the beauty of the northern mountains

After had taken a trip on mostly 5 stars hotel around Mallorca i can truly say that Ca'n Roses is one of our great experiences on the island.

The hotel itself is a bit hard to find by car in the middle of Soller, but when you finally get there you will get a friendly and honest welcome by the owner and her charming daughter (who assisted with the luggage from the car to the hotel). We got a lovely suite, no. 14 with a private terrace and because we where the only guests in that area in reality also our own swimming pool! tt's not a hotel for you if you expect waiters to serve you around the clock. Ca'n Roses is the right place if you will enjoy the beautiful mature garden and lovely swimming pool area, great mountain view and stay in well designed, friendly and homely atmosphere (we didn't even locked the door to our suite), enjoy a simple but good breakfast on the long dinner table together with other guests, A great alternative to the business like 5 star hotels with evening entertaining (we stayed on 3 other 5 star hotels on our 17 days stay at Mallorca) or new design boutique hotels

I really love this place, and do not want to share the secret with anyone else but I can not resist. I first came here over ten years ago and have been using it as a haven of peace and relaxation ever since. You arrive down a little side street off the main square in Soller. There is parking 50 meters away and do not worry about the fines as no one pays them! You enter from the unassuming street through a door within a barn door and walk into a size small but beautiful courtyard. At this point you realize you are not in any ordinary hotel but one which totally reflects the owners, dare I say it, bohemian taste in soft furnishings and exotic plants naughty photos! (The owner is a professional photographer Sun grannies cover your eyes). The main rooms are located around the courtyard at all different levels and are each individually furnished and brilliantly quirky. Do not be put off, this is done to a highly professional standard. Walking through the courtyard you stumble into a fantastic garden following lovely stone paths which wind around the periphery (and Asian furniture) and to the beautiful pool area. There are sufficient poolside loungers all with fresh towels daily and a shower area after your daily dip. This is a small family run hotel so do not expect poolside service or irritating intrusions by commission based waiters. What there is, is better, a discreet hidden away fridge full of beer and wine that you just sign for. How good is that!

In the last couple of years a new part of the garden has been opened up with one or two classic rooms, very large, brilliantly decorated and furnished to the highest standard, They have there own outside seating areas and pool. Great for Recluse!

I will not bore you by stating that all areas are fantastically clean etc, it goes without saying. The owners and staff are attentive but not intrusive which is how I like it.
