Ca's Curial is a magical slice of heaven, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Soller. It is family run which is part of its charm with Andres ( senior) and his son who is also called Andres running this beautiful Finca. The mother cooks very good 3( although with the large pre dinner taster it often felt like 4) courses in the evening. The evening meal has to be specifically requested by 5.00 pm on the day but there is no harm in this given that the food is freshly prepared, very much mallorcan, delightfully presented and extremely good.

Evening meals as with breakfasts are taken outside in the garden. I cannot stress enough just what a beautiful experience this is - wonderfully atmospheric candlelight in the evening stretching through the gardens to the pool. Magical. Breakfasts are also good. Do remember this is a Finca and therefore there are not loads of hotel staff but instead a family looking after you. But they do really look after you. For instance when we arrived ( and do take the postcode with you so that you can find the hotel) Andres greeted us wih tea and two freshly made pastries.

The hotel bedrooms are spacious and beautfiully appointed in mallorcan style. The beds are very comfortable and the bed linen and towels are of excellent quality. The Finca is surrounded by dramatic views of the mountains and a walk around the gardens is a gorgeous experience - early in the morning and late at night the smell of lavendar permeates the orange and lemon groves assails the senses.

Should you want to walk into Soller it is at most 15 minutes to walk and the busy central square is full of cafes serving fairly tourist oreintated food. Ask Andres for his resturanrt recommendations and he will be happy to help.

It is always a pleasure to return to Ca's Curial after doing some sight seeing - one of the most beaufitful places we have ever stayed in. We shall certainly be retrurning to this little piece of paradise.

After the usual Ryan Air flight from hell, and a turgid hour long wait at the slowest car hire firm on Earth, we arrived, hot, bothered and exasperated, to a chilled glass of white wine and some almonds from Andres Jr. At last, we thought, calm... but no; our room had been given away to someone else in a mix-up.
Andres Jr was beyond apologetic though and we came to an amicable financial arrangement as we decamped to an alternate room for our first night. During breakfast on the next day, my birthday, our bags were moved to our suite where we found a chilled bottle of cava, a candle and a rose, chocolates and raspberries set out for us.
Ca's Curial is an oasis - calm, secluded, the pace of life reduced to a snooze. Breakfast on the terrace is unhurried and informal where we chatted to the other guests by the small pond with its burbling fountain, the breeze gently rustling the orange trees. Then we retired to the poolside to snooze (more than enough sunbeds) until it was time to take the 10 minute stroll into Soller for lunch.
Caveat time - during the entire seven days in Mallorca we had maybe two decent meals. The food on the island seems to be poor and expensive, service erratic. We didn't eat in Ca's Curial, apart from a sandwich lunch, but other guests felt it was good value.
I'd be happy to go back, especially as there are plans next year to not allow guest under 13 which can only enhance the calm atmosphere of a tranquil setting.

For our first anniversary we travelled to ca's curial just fro the weekend, I had high expectations anyway but the finca surpassed this and was very impressive in every way. The welcome from Andreas junior was very warm and informal. We had freshly squeezed orange juice while we took in our surroundings and were then shown our suite. The whole of the building and it's stunning surroundings were impeccable, the rooms we had were simply but very comfortably decorated and the pool area was amazing. Overall we simply couldn't not fault this location. We were very relaxed even after our short stay and are looking forward to returning in the future. We would highly recommend Ca's Curial for anybody wanting to escape! 10/10 Excellent.

After an unpromising start to our holiday in Mallorca our eventual arrival at Ca’s Curial with its beautiful gardens and peaceful setting helped to soothe our ruffled feathers and put our unfortunate journey behind us .

We never did get an adequate explanation as to why the taxi (arranged via email with Andreas Snr several days prior to our arrival) failed to meet us at the airport. Or why the email said to have been sent to inform us (of something lost in translation), was never received!

If, like us, you decide to take the express bus from Palma to Soller don’t expect a taxi to be waiting at the bus stop to take you to your final destination. The subsequent long walk following signs to the hotel around the one way system whilst carrying 2 suitcases cannot be recommended!

However, the welcome from Andreas Jnr was sincere and from that point on our stay in the hotel was one of relaxation and comfort.

We chose to have dinner at the hotel most evenings and were not disappointed. Taken on the terrace delightfully lit by flares and candles the free aperitif and appetisers thoughtfully provided were a pleasant introduction to the excellent 3 course meal that followed. (The twenty-eight euros charged for this meal did not seem excessive for the quality of the food provided.)

Our accommodation had a decent sized terrace with loungers, a massive sitting room and an equally large bedroom. The bath with shower was quite adequate but it would have been nice to have been provided with a shower cap and perhaps some body lotion in addition to the all-purpose shower gel supplied.

As all previous reviewers have stated Andreas Jnr could not have been more helpful and is the font of all knowledge when it comes to places to eat or visit.

Would we return? Yes probably but at a cooler time of year to explore more of the island on foot.
