I have just returned from my week long stay at the Can Coll Finca. It was just perfect!

I would say that car hire is quite beneficial and eating out etc is slightly cheaper than here in England.

Great location. Nice setting and views. Friendly owners and staff. Comfortable rooms. Probably a little over-priced though.

We spent a quiet and relaxing two weeks at Can Coll last summer and I would thoroughly recommend it. Maike and Daniel are the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. We stayed in the garden suite which was gorgeous, but then all rooms look beautfiul. The small but perfect pool area is tucked away from the hotel within the gardens and is the ideal place to laze in the sun. Only a 10 min walk from Soller centre we would spend evenings strolling down to visit the small bars and restaurants in the local town square before heading back for a glass of wine from the hotel's bodega. Oh, and the breakfasts at Can Coll were fantastic! We seriously can't wait to go back.

This hotel has new owners who are really welcoming and very friendly. Rooms are stylish and comfortable and there are some nice touches - bottled water in your room and a chocolate on your pillow at night. It even had its own nightingale singing! Can Coll is in a perfect spot - very peaceful but a 10 minute walk into the town of Soller which has a pretty square and where you can catch to tram to the port, or the old train to Palma. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and gardens. If you like walking, the path to Deia passes the entrance. The owners have good recommendations for places to eat, and will even cook pasta lunches for you. Highly recommended!
