We stayed here, sadly only for one night, on our way back north and it was a wonderful gentle let-down at the end of our holiday. The Hotel itself is very attractive and our room (on the ground floor) was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Dinner cooked by Diana was really excellent, clever tasty cooking and very good value. We had a long chat to Diana over breakfast (she was deep in the kitchen during dinner) and both she and Dominique are charming and very welcoming.
The village is rated as one of the most beautiful in France - that is an understatement - and we loved exploring it the next morning, indeed the whole area is well worth spending a day or so exploring - and I can't think of a more comfortable and delicious place to stay than this hotel.

As others have written below I cannot understand the negative reviews earlier in the year. My wife and I stayed here for one night as we travelled down to Languedoc.
Our reception was warm and friendly, the room was clean, comfortable, and well laid out. Dinner was an excellent meal and the local wines were well worth trying.
Two small things ensured that we will return. Firstly a welcome coffee when dealing with a couple of 'e' mails first thing in the breakfast room before 'breakfast' had begun and secondly two garden fresh strawberries offered with our breakfast as they had just ripened.
Perfect.

I couldn't disagree more with the comments that the owners were not welcoming! We had an extensive email exchange with them from the UK and they could not have been more accomodating to us and our children. The food was very good and the family room clean and comfortable. An easy drive from Calais so we actually arrived in time for an aperitif in the lovely courtyard and they also cooked a plain pasta supper on arrival for our children. Would definitely recommend either as a stop off en route or as a base for a holiday as the region looked to be very attractive.

We stayed for 7 nights in this hotel. We had a bike arrangement with a Dutch travelorganisation. Beautiful, charming hotel. Nice location. We enjoyed the hospitality of the owners and we absolutely don't recognice some of the earlier reviews! The owners (Diana and Dominique) are both very hard working and nice people. Diana is also a great cook.
