We have just returned from a wonderful week in Seefeld staying at The Karwendelhof. Hotel.
The hotel was new to All Inclusive this year and I don't think they have got it quite right yet. The food was very good but unfortunately sometimes choice was limited and some dishes ran out and were not replenished at lunch and evening buffet, Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice.
The room we had was spacious if a little dated, the bed appeared new and was very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
There was a Jacuzzi, Steam room and Sauna which was very nicely presented, everywhere was spotlessly clean with crisp white table cloths and napkins on the dining tables.
Overall whilst this hotel doesn't quite come up to 4* standard we would be happy to stay there again at the price we paid which made it good value.
I don't understand why the hotel is listed as Casinohotel Karwendelhof as the Casino is separate from the hotel and the name could put some people off.

Good value for money, clean, rooms spacious, very comfortable beds. Wide variety of breakfast, dinner good quality, though portions may not be sufficient for big eaters. Location is perfect, 30 m from train station and at walking distance from the slopes.

We were looking forward to returning to this hotel once again this year but as soon as we arrived we noticed the changes .The hotel has not got the same family feeling that it had ,and this was due to the fact that the hotel has changed hands .Lots of little things have changed and unless you had stayed there before you would probably not notice it ,the main thing that irked us was the bar being closed at 11pm and being told we could not have a drink after returning from a meal out ,another thing we didnt like was on arrival being told the single room we had booked with a balcony was to be upgraded to a room without a balcony .....It looked like they had overbooked this type of room we were not offered any compensation for this even though we had paid extra ,I have been in touch with the booking company and am awaiting an answer.
The meals had changed all together ,there were choices but if they had run out they were not replaced and you had to get down very early in the morning to get a full choice for breakfast,Dinner was very reptative and once again if you were not down early the vegetables would have gone along with choice of meats ,you had to have what was left .
Bar prices were very expensive ,we found ordering wine in the restaurant was cheaper than in the bar ,so we would order extra and take it into the bar after dinner,also make sure you ask for tap water or else you will be charged a hefty fee for bottled,which over the week adds up.
Would I stay here again ? Probably because the location cannot be beaten you are just minutes away from everywhere.

just returned from the karwendelhof,we found this to be an okay hotel,we paid extra for a larger room but this was no bigger than other rooms in hotels we have stayed in.Hotel bang in centre which is good but very noisy as there are bars and discos surrounding this hotel.church bells ring every morning at 7 as well and go on for ages just to make sure they wake you up.casino at side of hotel is very good,a good night out.food okay but not brilliant,breakfast oksy but evening meal the portions are tiny,make sure you stock up on bread.would go to seefeld again but not sure about the hotel
