Its very good and old Hotel.Situated in M.P Nagar.The quality of food is very good.But its old so renovation is require.
The hotel is very well located ,every Business or Goverment office are well within reach.

Commitment value of the person doing the booking is zero. I was being charged different tariff then what was committed to me by the hotel staff.

to my surprise, it was the GM of the Hotel, who had taken such a stand. Being in hospitality industry, he is expected to be courteous and generous, but he was a real nerd and bogus person.

Experience of Hotel was good, but the GM is pathetic. I would recommend the owner of the HOTEL to take the action.

I had gone to Bhopal on an official visit in Nov 09, stayed at Hotel Surendra Vilas for 5 days,its a 3 star rated hotel. Its an Old Hotel, interior was ok room service to was ok, food was ok. Room tariff was Rs 2000 and they offered complimentary Breakfast plus dinner for max Rs 300. Hotel is in M.P nagar can also try for Hotal Ameer Palace, it was my first preference but due to non availability of room stayed at Surendra Vilas.

It was indeed a wonderful location where the hotel is put up. It looks good from outside, but when you get into the rooms, they look quite bad, typical old style, not so clean. The lobby was good, but everything went sour after that.

It would be nice if they could change the interiors. The sockets were not functioning. The bath tub was leaking. Hot water was not comming. The TV was very old and was covered with dust. The bar was not so good. They had only Indian made foreign liquors. The quality of food is not that good. No continental dishes except sandwich. Mostly indian foods are kept. Not that good to taste.

I would not recommend this hotel to any one.
